Alabaster (commonly referred to as "Al") is a kind and gentle vampire, if sometimes rather sardonic, who seldom loses his temper. When he does though, it usually results in dismemberment. He can't stand people asking him if he "sparkles" and likes shopping and critiqeing people's clothes. Al is referred to by Pan as her "gay best friend," even though he shows no evidence of homosexuality; the popular theory is that it's because of his persona and hobbies, and that he's a bit of a show-off. Alabaster used to have a perfectly straight nose, but there is now a permanent kink from where Pan broke it.
